Improvised Fix

I recently created a new type of poem.  Inspired by Haiku’s, I came up with a type of poem revolving not around syllables per line, but around a certain number of words per line, with each line representing a different part of the idea that the poem is getting across.  I don’t know if this is actually a new creation but I have never seen it done before.  I have no name for this type of poem.

This is the first one of many that I have created:

Marketing 101

I have published my first post for a brand new marketing firm called Sparkworks Solutions.  Based in Vancouver, B.C. they cater to small businesses who don’t have the time or resources to develop their own marketing strategies and need help with identifying what is and isn’t working as well as with creating something new and unique to set them apart.

My article focuses on how to think outside the “bulb” and use creativity, instead of money, to catch peoples interest about a brand in a memorable way.  I talk about things like tissue paper marketing and soccer themed urinals.  Take a look here.

Some examples of areas they would help you are with creating a Facebook and Twitter page and building your likes and follows, developing slogans, logos and advertising materials, and creating campaigns to increase awareness and bring people through the door.

If you are a small business in Vancouver and would like a free consultation, or even just have a few questions, please contact them and set up a meeting.
